Why did I wait so long to start blogging? #1 reason is I really don't have time for this, but I used to journal almost every day and I love to look back at them. That is why I am starting. As much as I love to scrapbook, I just don't write enough.
Our girls are so spirited and fun, even though it irritates me at times, I am trying to see the positive in it. Our house is for sale and it just seems too small so much of the time. However, I am sure I will look back at this tiny house with fond memories and be pleased that we got to spend so much of their young lives living so closely to them. One day they will be up in their rooms with the phone cord stretched to its max underneath their bedroom doors.... no wait, that was me:-). No phone cords anymore... there story will be ... in their bedrooms with their cell phones glued to their ears. Hannah Montana will not be playing on their radios anymore, they will be on to the next big thing. I have to admit, I will miss Hannah.
We just finished dinner... the girls' favorite Hamburger Casserole. Even
Ayla ate it! It is always reason to celebrate when
Ayla eats something. We do indeed have something to celebrate. Easter is tomorrow. We have
alot to be thankful for, but mostly for our salvation. It is easy to forget in the hustle and bustle of life. We are going to church in the morning... the girls have been wearing their Easter dresses all day long, or trying to anyway. I keep asking them to take them off and then they come out in their pajamas and robes again! Kira still wears her Ariel "
fuzzies." She got the silky nightgown when she was 6, I think. We bought a size 7 so she could wear it for a couple of years. Little did we know, she would still call it her favorite when she was 11. Anyway, she is either in Hannah Montana or Ariel nightgown. Emma is in her standard
tshirt (Blah, Blah) T-shirt and polka dot pants. Her
camo pants finally wore out and her favorite jeans now have 3 holes in the knees. I have no idea how you get 3 holes in 2 knees, but she does. They are getting ready to watch a movie together. (The Last
Mimzy. They complained that they have seen it 3 times, but have been glued to the TV. Must be OK.)
Got distracted. Casey dropped by to pick something up and brought her new puppy, Fritz.
Ayla got pummeled, but I have a feeling once he calms a bit, they will be best buds.
Today,
Ayla was asking where Casey was.... "Where Casey." David told her she was at home. She said "Casey pretty." David said, "Yes, Casey is pretty."
Ayla responded... "Awesome." I had to call Casey and tell her.
David waiting on me to watch our movie... it is now almost 9 and may not happen.
