Great news!

I know it is a process, but I believe we have arrived in an almost diaper free state! We have had 3 days at home together this week with the primary focus being using the big girl potty! HIGH FIVE AYLA! YOU DID IT! Here she is adding the reward sticker to her poster. It is amazing what makes kids tick. She is very, very proud of herself.

Thomas Toots that Ayla is 2!

No surprise here. I love to scrapbook. Most of my pages are "just get er done," but I took some time on this one. I made a Percy train for Colton for his birthday and it took me a while before I wanted to duplicate it for Ayla. I finally found the creative juices today while Ayla was napping and am pretty proud of the result. All it is is cardstock and time. Love it! My best friend Jenn made the adorable Dairy Queen cake as her gift for Ayla. She went all out this time. The train is actually named Molly (yes there are girl trains too!)

The Shack continued

I just finished "The Shack." I have no true words to describe how this book affects me, but I even listened to today's sermon with a different ear. Please read this book. If it is true, and I have no real reason to believe it isn't, then God is really trying to speak to us. Relationships matter, forgiveness matters. I am not saying this is the Bible, but it is just so intriguing.

"If anything matters then everything matters. Because you are important, everything you do is important. Every time you forgive, the universe changes; every time you reach out and touch a heart or a life, the world changes; with every kindness and service, seen or unseen, {God's} purposes are accomplished and nothing will ever be the same again."
