On May 27th, Kira was honored at her school, Guion Creek Elementary for several awards. She received the bronze medal for Lifeskills, the Jump Kids Jump award (one of only a few kids selected to to jump rope at the Pepsi Coleseum for her school), Perfect Attendance, Science Fair, and morning Newscast member. Her 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Allen smiles on behind her.

Wow Beth! That's great news! Kira looks so grown up too. I can't believe she's ready for middle school in the fall. Before you know it, she'll be in college!
