Kira had a rough scrimmage last night. We almost took a trip to the ER. She was pitching to a really competitive travel team from Noblesville and there was a play at the plate. Oh, OUCH! That had to hurt! Kira, I'm sorry you got hit with the softball like that. At least it was like the time I got hit with a softball at about your age too--the pitcher threw the ball directly at me and I got a concussion!
It is now about a month later and she still has a small bruise with some (hopefully) calcifications under it. Need to have Dr. Cooper take another look at it.
